Winter Sports!
What's better than hiking and scrambling in the summertime? Snowshoeing and skiing in the wintertime in the Canadian Rocky Mountains!
Instead of following the bears and hibernating in the cold winter, we decided to keep our "mojo" aka groove from our summer adventures going and keep heading outdoors in the winter months. The mountains are twice as gorgeous when the snow falls on them, so there was no hesitation in picking up some snowshoes and hitting up the trails on the weekends. If you haven't had the chance to see the Rockies in the winter, you are missing out! Places such as "Mountain Equipment Co-op (MEC)" and "Sports Rent" in Calgary both rent skis and snowshoes so grab a pair and get a great workout in the snow!
